Hugh Sexey Middle School is an outstanding school where our pupils enjoy an excellent education, providing both focus on the core subjects, together with the diversity needed to develop the overall child. Our aim is to nurture happy, caring, accomplished and fulfilled young people.  We value each and every child, encouraging them to become independent thinkers, able to use their initiative appropriately and with confidence.

Education is a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our close working relationship with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together and I would encourage you to become actively involved, not only in those areas that directly affect your child, but also in the wider life of the school. The staff here at Hugh Sexey Middle School welcome every opportunity to get to know the parents of our students better and our regular consultation meetings with parents are particularly important in this. However, informal conversations play an equally important role in ensuring your child's well-being.
